Biden Administration Erases Women on 50th Anniversary of Title IX

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, on the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, the Biden Administration proposed a rule that will redefine “sex” in Title IX to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” rather than adhere to the original intent of Congress’ definition of male and female.

Statement from David Walls, Executive Director of The Family Foundation:

“On this historic anniversary of Title IX, the Biden Administration has tragically, once again, tried to erase women and girls. It is outrageous that the administration is taking opportunities from women and girls and instead forcing the LGBT agenda in every public school, kindergarten through college.

“Thankfully Kentucky and other states are pushing back against this radical gender ideology and will continue to stand for commonsense values. This attempt to cancel women and cancel the truth about biology will ultimately fail,” Walls concluded.

The Family Foundation helped lead the effort to pass the Save Women’s Sports Act (SB 83) in Kentucky earlier this year. 18 states have now passed Save Women’s Sports laws in the last 2 years.
