Let Us Pray

Let Us Pray: 2025 is Here!

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31

On Wednesday, as hard as it is to believe, we will officially launch into the New Year. 2025 is here! As we ponder how fast time flies with the imminent close of 2024, may we truly understand that each day is a gift from God in this life that is defined by brevity.

With this in mind, let us keep at the forefront of our focus this New Year James 4:14, which states, “For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” The days ahead in this New Year will without a doubt quickly pass by.

Therefore, may we work as hard as we can to make the most of them by glorifying God in whatever we put our minds and hands to. The Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:31 gives a directive that is our mission at all times including in this New Year, when he states, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Whatever 2025 may bring, let us take on every challenge and face every situation with actions that bring glory to the Lord. As we launch into the new 2025 Kentucky General Assembly and face major legislative battles, may we hold fast to our calling to serve the Lord faithfully in all our ways and bring Him glory!

LET US PRAY…

Father, may we truly comprehend the quickly passing nature of life and see each day as the blessing it is. Lord, empower us to take advantage of each day to serve You faithfully and bring You glory. Father, strengthen us to speak and act with clarity and conviction for You in this new year and new legislative session. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
