Let Us Pray

“Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” – Genesis 2:7

Simone Biles is a decorated and celebrated American Olympian. Biles is a gymnast who has won a multitude of Olympic medals and inspired the nation not only by her talent but also by overcoming her difficult childhood in foster care.

Although she would be classified as a champion in many aspects of her life, unfortunately, she is not a champion for life. Recently, Biles has come forth publicly stating that she is “very much pro-choice.”

On one of her social media accounts she seemed to argue that because the adoption and foster care systems are broken, pre-born children might be better off by being aborted. Biles, the greatest gymnast of all time, with her massive platform is promoting a dangerous worldview, in which, she insinuates that death is sometimes better than giving a child a chance at life in the foster care system.

To wish death on some children in the womb because they might face the foster care system is simply sad, sinful, and un-American. Every American has the right to life and should be given the same opportunity as Biles has had to overcome any broken system that they may face and live out the life God has created them for.

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, please help every American to understand that no one has the authority or power to decide whether a human life in the womb has the right to live. Lord, thank You, for our God-given right to life. Empower us, Lord, to defend the right to life and to be champions for life in every way we possibly can. May abortion in America one day be outlawed and allowed no more. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
