“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
The Bible teaches that in every facet of our life, we are to act in such a way that it glorifies God. A part of Christian faithfulness means to bring God glory through every action, every thought, and every effort in our lives.
Although we fail the Lord in various ways throughout life, as Christians, we must be so permeated in our love for God that in every aspect of life, our motive is to bring God honor and glory. In connection with this truth, a helpful and guiding principle we should ask ourselves before every endeavor is this: Will this action bring glory to God?
The Biblical principle that we are to bring glory to God in all things also applies, certainly, to how Christians spend their money. We must remember that God is the ultimate provider of all of our needs (Philippians 4:19) which includes His provision over our financial needs.
As we consider the fact that God is our ultimate financial provider, we should ask ourselves this question in line with the guiding principle mentioned earlier: Does this purchase glorify God?
With a wave of major U.S. Companies pushing the LGBTQ+ agenda, like Bud Light, Target, and others, which is an anti-Biblical agenda, Christians must ask themselves: Should I shop at stores that promote ideologies that the Bible classifies as sinful? As we seek to do all things for the glory of God, we must stop shopping at places that have crossed the line. The fact is, when we continue to purchase items from corporations that are radically pushing the LGBTQ+ agenda, in reality, we are funding their anti-Biblical agenda which in no way brings glory to God.
LET US PRAY…
Father, empower us as Your people to bring You glory and honor through every action in our lives. Lord, help us to concentrate on bringing You glory through the way we spend the money that ultimately You have provided for us. Father, help Christians all across our nation to stand up and say no more to corporations who are trying to push the LGBTQ+ worldview on us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
