In 1972, Title IX became the law of the land here in the United States. The original intent of Title IX was to end sexism and ensure that biological females who participated in women’s sports were not denied opportunities that were available for biological males in men’s sports.
Now, just days ago, the Biden Administration announced, in a radical move, that it plans to change the clear understanding and straightforward text of Title IX. Specifically, the Biden White House is attempting to alter the plain definition of “sex” which refers to one’s biological makeup being either that of male or female to “sex” referring also to one’s “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.”
This change to Title IX would lead to wide-ranging negative results and would actually cause Title IX to strip away protections from biological women that are so integral to the law. This proposal to Title IX would make it illegal for schools or states to outlaw biological men from competing in women’s sports.
Practically speaking, this proposal from the Biden Administration would undermine state laws that have been passed across the nation that ensure female athletes are allowed to compete on a level and fair playing field by not allowing biological men to compete in them. Specifically, this proposal would threaten female athletes in Kentucky as it would undercut the “Save Women’s Sports Act” that was passed to protect female athletes in the Commonwealth in 2022.
To boil it down, it seems that the Biden White House is realizing that they are losing ground on the “transgender” issue, and so in response, the Administration is taking aim at Save Women’s Sports Laws across the nation.

Father, we pray that the Biden Administration will be convicted of their advocacy of sexual perversion and that they may quickly change course. Lord, may the momentum to protect biological females across the nation only grow stronger and stronger in the face of this action from the Biden White House. Father, empower us to effectively communicate to our world Your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
