“Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.” – 1 John 3:4
Recently, Gov. Gavin Newsom of California signed into law an absurd and illogical bill. Assembly Bill No. 1084 demands that retail department stores with more than 500 employees create an area within the store where a selection of gender-neutral toys and items can be displayed for children.
The bill specifically states that stores must, “maintain a gender-neutral section or area … in which a reasonable selection of the items and toys for children that it sells shall be displayed, regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys.”
LGBTQ+ advocates and gender ideologues have even gone as far as to argue that using colors in the children’s toy aisles like the color of blue for boys and pink for girls in these stores are “harmful.” They went on to say that toys specifically tailored toward one sex are “discriminatory” and reinforces the pressure American children face to conform to “outdated stereotypes.”
This bill is logically incoherent as biological, scientific, and Biblical facts reveal what we have always known, and that is there are only two biological sexes, male and female. What California and the rest of the nation should understand is that measures such as this bill do not help anyone and will actually cause more harm to those who are struggling with gender dysphoria as it promotes the false idea that one can choose their own sex.
LET US PRAY . . .
Father, help our nation to be one that creates laws that are based on Biblical and scientific facts, not on subjective opinions. Father, may America truly see the wonderful gift that You have given to each of us in creating us perfectly in Your image. Please, Lord, protect American children from the false gender ideology being forced upon them, and may they understand that You have created them perfectly for a wonderful plan. Farther, may no more of these types of bills be enacted in our land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
