Let Us Pray

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”  – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Every human is uniquely created in the image of God and therefore endowed with certain unalienable rights. The U.S. Declaration of Independence recognizes that these include “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

Recent vaccine mandates are of concern because they force someone to submit to an unwanted medical treatment contrary to their unalienable rights and the basic medical ethic of informed consent.

Should someone be forced to submit to the violation of Life, accepting a vaccine that used abortion-derived fetal stem cells in development and testing?

Should someone’s Liberty be violated when their consideration of the burdens, risks, and expected benefits of all options leads them to conclude the vaccine isn’t in their best interest?

Should someone be forced by the government or an employer to abandon their quest to please God by obeying His commands, which is how the “Purusit of Happiness” was defined by the Founding Fathers?

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, guide government and business leaders to honor the dignity of each individual. May they enact policies that properly protect Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness in the midst of society’s health concerns. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
