The world continues to witness Russia commit atrocities in its unjust war against Ukraine, with each day revealing shocking and horrible war crimes.
The overwhelming majority of countries in the world have condemned Russia’s wicked actions and taken steps to hold Russia accountable politically and economically.
Even in the midst of our fallen world, the peoples of the world (with all our various cultures) know that humans are entitled to dignity. This is so ingrained in us that the world’s nations signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
Russia’s unjust war and shocking war crimes force us to confront the wickedness of man, while reminding us of what we all know… all humans are entitled to dignity, regardless of their characteristics.
But as we confront the wickedness overseas and condemn the attacks on human dignity, we must also confront it in America. The slaughter of over 62 million unborn children in America is an atrocity that must be recognized. Just like Russia’s war crimes, the scale and nature of the assault on human dignity is shocking and horrible.
Let us work to restore the value of life in our culture and pray that the U.S. Supreme Court overrules its unjust and legally erroneous decision in Roe v. Wade, which robbed unborn children of their human dignity and declared a right to kill them.
LET US PRAY…
Father, please be with Ukraine and provide them with relief from the wickedness Russian President Putin has unleashed. Please guide the U.S. Supreme Court justices and their law clerks as they consider overturning Roe v. Wade. May they act justly, and end America’s disregard for the human dignity of our unborn children. Lord, we eagerly look forward to the day when You return to punish the wicked and restore righteousness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
