“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.” – Habakkuk 2:14
God should not only receive glory from us when we are gathered in our homes, churches, or personal gatherings. Giving the glory to God that He deserves should never be limited or restrained.
In every sphere of life, God deserves to be given glory, honor, respect, and worship. This is one of the reasons why we, as believers in Christ, must engage the culture around us.
To see God glorified throughout our culture means that we must engage and influence our society for the sake of Christ and His truth. If we desire to see Christ lifted high in Kentucky and throughout America, then engaging the culture for righteousness is not optional, but rather mandatory.
Without a doubt, it is a difficult endeavor to influence our culture for God’s glory, as much of our society has abandoned His truth and need for Him. That is why we must rely on the Holy Spirit’s power for courage and strength in our efforts to glorify God in our society.
LET US PRAY…
Father, empower us with Your Spirit to engage our culture for Your glory. Lord, give us the strength and courage we need to always stand for You and Your truth. Father, may we seek to glorify You in every sphere of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
