EX-PLANNED PARENTHOOD CHIEF’S MAJOR REGRET
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” – 2 Corinthians 4:4
Cecile Richards is a well-known abortion activist who was at the helm of the abortion giant, Planned Parenthood, for twelve years. From 2006 to 2018, Richards served as president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
Recently, Richards wrote a piece for the New York Times, and in the article, she revealed her major, overarching regret from her over a decade-long tenure at Planned Parenthood. What was her massive regret during her twelve years at the top of the leading abortion mill in our nation you might ask?
Was it the millions of innocent lives that were butchered in the womb under her supervision? No. Was it her stating that her own children were not alive until they were born? No. Was it her hiring of an individual caught on camera describing the value of fetal body parts while casually continuing to eat her meal? No.
Richards wrote that her biggest regret was not realizing that the Republican Party truly wanted to end abortion. In the article, she wrote, “I wasn’t cynical enough to fully comprehend the extent of the Republican Party’s willingness to trade away people’s lives for political power.”
It is a sad reality that after this time away from being at the top of Planned Parenthood, Richards does not have any semblance of regret from overseeing the killing of millions of innocent Americans. This is the essence of one being spiritually blinded by darkness. Satan blinds unbelievers so that they cannot see light and, in this case, continue to love death and see nothing wrong with killing.
LET US PRAY . . .
Father, please open the spiritual eyes of those who are blinded and believe abortion somehow is a good and noble procedure. Father, help those who are pro-abortion to see the truth that abortion is nothing short of murdering innocent life that You have created. Father, please bring Cecile Richards and those who support abortion to the light and to repentance. Lord, help our nation to honor life in every way possible. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
