Jamie Reed is a self-proclaimed “queer” woman who is “married to a transman” and without hesitation aligns with the far-left politically. Until recently, she worked at the Washington University Transgender Center at St Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri where she oversaw patient intake.
Her intention when she took the job was not only to help but to “literally” save “trans” kids. On Thursday, however, she published her story of how she went from a “trans” activist to a whistleblower in the online publication The Free Press where she authored the piece, “I Thought I was Saving Trans Kids. Now I am Blowing the Whistle.”
In this piece, Reed details the horrors that the transgender center puts confused children through. Disturbingly, she noted that the majority of the young kids that went through the clinic were quickly placed on hormone prescriptions that can have life-altering results, including sterility. This is being done on the basis of so-called “medical expertise and evidence” which in reality Reed realized is not the case at all, and that these methods are simply experimental.
Reed stated, “By the time I departed, I was certain that the way the American medical system is treating these patients is the opposite of the promise we make to ‘do no harm.’ Instead, we are permanently harming the vulnerable patients in our care.” The piece also sounded the alarm on how mental health disorders are dismissed and the children are rushed into the “transitioning” process with no understanding of the short- or long-term risks involved with the treatments.
There are many more disturbing facets of this story, however, what needs to be seen here is this… God is the one who creates each person with a fixed biological sex at birth, thus any medical attempt to mar one’s sex never brings about flourishing but only deterioration as only through God’s plan can one truly flourish. Furthermore, it is beyond time for transgender procedures to be excluded from confused and vulnerable children as they should not be viewed as prey that can be used to advance transgender ideology.
LET US PRAY…
Father, please use Jamie Reed’s testimony to shine the light on the horrors of so-called “transgender medicine.” Lord, please protect vulnerable and confused children from being exploited and used to advance transgender ideology. Father, may our nation collectively understand that You create us as a fixed sex and any deviation from that sex only brings about harm, pain, and deterioration. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
