House Bill 3 Under Attack (April 20, 2022)

“And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may go well with you, and that you may go in and take possession of the good land that the Lord swore to give to your fathers.” – Deuteronomy 6:18

During this year’s legislative session, the Kentucky General Assembly overwhelmingly passed House Bill 3, the Humanity in Healthcare Act. Unfortunately, Gov. Beshear vetoed the pro-life omnibus bill in an effort to reassure and defend his radical pro-abortion base.

Thankfully, the General Assembly in the concluding days of the session, stood strong for life and overrode the Governor’s veto, thus making House Bill 3 law in Kentucky. Due to this fact, women and their preborn children now have many more protections in the Commonwealth. Furthermore, this law now prohibits mail-order abortion drugs and taxpayer funds from going to abortion mills.

Not long after the bill became law, it was clear that House Bill 3 was under siege as pro-abortion advocates, including Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, are attacking the law in court by filing legal challenges. By refusing to comply with HB 3’s protections and immediately filling suit, abortion advocates have once again revealed they do not really care about women and only desire to further profit off the slaughter of babies in the womb.

However, we praise God that in Kentucky right now because of the abortion clinics’ shutdowns, no preborn baby is being terminated in the womb. May the day be on the horizon when in Kentucky and America abortion is no more.

Also, we praise God for Attorney General Cameron and his office as he has made it clear and has promised to defend House Bill 3.

LET US PRAY…

Father, please empower Attorney General Cameron and his office to effectively defend House Bill 3 in court. Lord, we praise You, that as of right now the unborn are not being terminated in the womb here in Kentucky. Father, may the day come quickly when abortion is no longer legal in our land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
