In August of 2022, the Indiana state legislature passed Senate Bill 1, which was an immensely important pro-life legislative measure. This piece of legislation was passed in response to the United States Supreme Court’s ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, and it prohibits the termination of the pre-born through abortions in the state of Indiana.
Almost immediately after the law was passed by the Indiana legislature, pro-abortion advocates filed a lawsuit challenging the law. Unfortunately, a judge sided with the pro-abortion groups and blocked the law from going into effect.
Thankfully, the Indiana Supreme Court, just days ago, ruled to uphold the law for a second time, after a second challenge to the law was made by pro-abortion activists. Today, in Indiana, the pre-born are safe as the abortion ban is in full effect and is the law of the state.
It is an awesome reality that this pro-life law, the abortion ban in Indiana, will save 9,000 babies every year. Every day in Indiana because of this piece of God-honoring legislation, 161 babies will be saved from being murdered through abortion.

Father, we praise You for this incredible piece of pro-life legislation that has gone into full effect in Indiana. Lord, we praise You that every day in Indiana babies are being saved from the murderous horror called abortion. Father, thank You for the courage of the Indiana Supreme Court to do what was right and uphold the law. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
