Let Us Pray: Largest Christian University in the U.S. Wins Legal War Against Biden’s DOE

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

President Biden’s Department of Education (DOE) zoned in and targeted the largest Christian university in the nation over the last few years. Back in 2021, Grand Canyon University (GCU) was forced to defend itself from the DOE by filing a lawsuit because the department ridiculously refused GCU’s status as a nonprofit which put the school at risk on multiple levels.

Just a year later, unfortunately, a lower court ruled in favor of the DOE in its refusal to grant the nonprofit status to GCU. Then, in 2023, GCU faced a 37.7-million-dollar lawsuit brought by the federal government supposedly because of allegations that GCU lied to students about the cost of its programs.

All the attacks that have been launched at the large Christian university, unsurprisingly, have caused a significant level of uncertainty on campus there. It is still unclear why Biden’s DOE has specifically targeted GCU in such a ruthless way over the last few years.

Thankfully, just days ago, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in a 3-0 unanimous decision that GCU was wrongfully denied nonprofit status. This was a blatant attack on a Christian institution by the federal government. Hopefully, this lengthy legal war and victory will put a stop to Christian institutions being unlawfully discriminated against by federal government bureaucracies.

LET US PRAY…

Father, we thank You for the work of Grand Canyon University, and we pray that it will be free from unlawful attacks moving forward so that it can fulfill its mission by providing a quality Christian education. Lord, please protect Christian institutions across our nation from ruthless attacks like the ones launched at GCU. Father, help us to always look to you in times of tribulation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
