Let Us Pray

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.”
– 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Last week, President Biden announced a national vaccine mandate that would require employers with 100+ employees to require the vaccine or weekly testing of every employee.

The mandate covers 100 million Americans, about two-thirds of all U.S. employees.

Lawmakers, governors, and others have already announced their intentions to file legal challenges to the action. They allege that it is clearly an unconstitutional overreach of federal executive power.

Regardless of one’s personal stance on the vaccine, there are grave concerns about violating the medical ethics principle of informed consent to treatment and the violation of sincerely held religious beliefs.

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, many in our Commonwealth and our nation are being confronted with a difficult choice – submit to medical treatment they object to, or be unable to provide food for their family. Please give them comfort. Provide them with the strength, grace, and wisdom they need during these stressful days. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
