“Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples!” – Psalm 117:1
Over the last two years, there has been quite an uptick in the number of Americans who disapprove of men participating in women’s sports. In 2023, The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll revealed that 67% of American voters disapproved of men participating in women’s sports.
Days ago, The New York Times released a new poll that now shows that the overwhelming majority of American voters do not want men involved in women’s sports. The poll specifically asked, “Thinking about transgender female athletes – meaning athletes who were male at birth but who currently identify as female – do you think they should or should not be allowed to complete in women’s sports?”
The new poll found that nearly 80% of American voters believe that men should be completely barred from competing in women’s sports. The 79% of American voters who believe that men should have no place in women’s sports include 94% of Republicans, 67% of Democrats, and 64% of Independent voters.
Additionally, the poll asked American voters whether or not minors should be able to access puberty-blocking drugs and opposite-sex hormones. Encouragingly, 71% of American voters believe that those under 18 should not be able to access the devastating and dangerous puberty-blocking drugs and opposite-sex hormones.
Continuously we are witnessing truth win and the faulty transgender worldview lose ground here in America. Let us be encouraged to continue speaking truth publicly as momentum is on the side of truth, reality, and commonsense throughout the United States.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You that the faulty transgender movement is losing ground rapidly in our nation. Lord, empower us to use this moment to continue standing for truth advocating for Your perfect creation of each human being as either male or female. Father, may Your created order be honored throughout these United States. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Every “Let Us Pray” devotional throughout this year’s legislative session will have the names of those in authority here in Kentucky so that we may fulfill our God-given command to pray for our governing leaders.
