The state legislature of Ohio on December 13, 2023, overwhelmingly passed House Bill 68, the “SAFE Act.” This important piece of legislation protects children and kids from gender transition procedures and also protects girls’ sports from being destroyed by male invasion.
Days later after the passage of the SAFE Act, Gov. DeWine, sadly, vetoed this important legislative measure. Praise the Lord, days ago, the Ohio legislature reversed the Governor’s veto by voting to override it.
The Buckeye State has now become the 23rd state in the nation to protect minors from the dangerous and devastating gender transition procedures. It has also become the 24th state in the nation to ensure a level playing field for women’s sports by prohibiting biological males who identify as transgender females from infiltrating them.
This is truly a historical and monumental moment for the state of Ohio. State by state the transgender movement is being halted and is losing momentum which is a pivotal thing as transgender ideology is a false one and one that cannot provide a stable foundation for a society.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You for the SAFE Act that is now in place in Ohio which provides protections for minors from gender transition procedures and protections for women’s sports. Lord, please bless those in the Ohio state legislature who had the courage to correctly override the Governor’s veto of the SAFE Act. Father, we praise You for the states that have already passed measures to protect minors and girls, and we pray for more states to do the same. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
