ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT VICTORIES OF 2021

Time seems to be running at warp speed these days as it is hard to believe that 2021 is quickly coming to a close. As this year comes to an end, let us be filled with gratitude as we consider the good pro-family, pro-life, and pro-religious liberty victories that have taken place in 2021.
One of the most important victories seen this year, that The Family Foundation fought so diligently for, was the passing of House Bill 91 in the 2021 legislative session. In March of 2021, the Kentucky General Assembly passed HB 91 which is the “Yes for Life” Constitutional Amendment.
If ratified, this Amendment will forbid judges in the Commonwealth from somehow reading an imaginary right to abortion in the Kentucky Constitution. This Constitutional Amendment would erase any doubt about so-called abortion rights and affirm that the Kentucky Constitution does not secure or protect a right to abortion or require funding of abortion.
On November 8, 2022, Kentuckians will be able to cast one of the most important votes of their lives as the Yes for Life Amendment will be on the ballot. This Amendment, if passed, will continue to solidify Kentucky as one of the most pro-life states in the nation.

Father, thank You, for granting us the pro-life victory of House Bill 91 in 2021. Lord, please fill Kentuckians with Your Spirit and empower them to cast a vote for life on November 8th, 2022. Thank You, Father, for making us in Your image with the innate knowledge that every human life is a sacred gift from You. Father, help us, to continue to fight for life in 2022, and may we see many more victories in this effort. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
