The world feels like it is spinning so fast that it is literally spinning out of control. The perplexity of our world today, no doubt, brings great stress on our governing leaders here in America.
Our governing leaders are carrying a great burden right now as they try to prevent global wars in Ukraine and Israel from expanding, try to handle numerous other worldwide crisis, and solve problems right here in the homeland.
Although there are times when we do not see eye-to-eye with our leaders and fervently disagree with them, our Biblical command to pray for them never changes (1 Timothy 2:1-2). With the shape that our nation and world are in right now, as believers in Christ, we must fervently pray for our President, Governor, the U.S. Congress, and all who are in positions of authority.
The world and our nation are in a very critical position right now, and with the complexity of the issues facing President Biden and our other leaders, it is important that we earnestly ask the Lord to have favor on America by giving them His wisdom. America’s leaders at this pivotal moment in history need nothing less than the wisdom of Almighty God.
LET US PRAY…
Father, in this extremely complex moment in history we pray that You will give Your wisdom to our nation’s leaders and that they will obey Your ways. Lord, please humble our governing leaders to willfully follow Your truth. Father, help Your Body here in America to earnestly fulfill the Biblical command to pray for our leaders and to pray for Your wisdom to be known to them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
