“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:27
For years now, there has been a ridiculous ongoing “trans” war over bathrooms as to who has access to the women’s bathroom and the men’s bathroom. Due to “Sarah” McBride of Delaware, who recently was elected to the House of Representatives, and is the first “transgender” individual to be elected to the House, the bathroom wars have now invaded Capitol Hill.
McBride’s election has sparked intense debate about which bathroom or showers McBride will use during the sessions. This situation has also brought into question who will determine the outcomes of these important matters.
In response to the madness, one week ago, Representative Nancy Mace rightly filed a bill that would mandate those in Congress to use restrooms associated with their biological sex only. The Congresswoman stated, “Sarah McBride doesn’t get a say. I mean, this is a biological man. McBride does not belong in women’s spaces, women’s bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, period, full stop.”
Then, days ago, House Speaker Mike Johnson exemplified strong leadership on this issue by calling a spade a spade when he said clearly that under his leadership men will be men, and women will be women. Speaker Johnson stated, “For anybody who doesn’t know my well-established record on this issue, let me be unequivocally clear: A man is a man, and a woman is a woman. And a man cannot become a woman.”
America has been starving for the kind of leadership that Speaker Johnson is showing by simply standing strong and courageously for commonsense, truth, and reality.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You for the strong stand for truth that Speaker Johnson, Representative Mace, and others are exemplifying. Lord, may members of Congress do whatever is necessary to protect women from having their private spaces invaded by biological men. Father, empower us to speak Your truth clearly to our culture. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
