In June of 2023, Target, which is one of America’s largest retail corporations, had a large and expansive LGBTQ “Pride” section at the front of many of its stores. Unbelievably, these Pride sections not only offered merchandise for adults, but they also targeted children by having merchandise specifically for them.
The LGBTQ merchandise that was being displayed included female-style swimsuits that can “tuck” male genitalia, clothes that can “fit on multiple body types and gender expressions,” Pride outfits for children, and more. Target soon faced tremendous blowback and outrage from the public which forced the retail giant to relocate the Pride sections to the back in some of its stores.
People have not forgotten the insensitive and overly aggressive act of Target to try to force the LGBTQ agenda on the public, and that is why over the last year the company has been pounded in the stock market by losing a tremendous amount of value. It seems that the company’s leadership understands where the company is and realizes that it cannot continue to take these types of losses.
As we approach June, what some call “Pride Month,” Target is now somewhat backtracking and has publicly announced that it will significantly reduce its Pride products in a shocking reversal of plans. This is a major move as the retail giant once touted its LGBTQ merchandise as being “great for our brand.”
While there is no doubt Target continues to promote progressive causes, this should serve as a great encouragement for pro-family conservatives across our nation, we must never underestimate the power of courageously standing for what is right!

Father, empower us to stand strong against all forms of evil. Lord, may we be effective advocates for Your truth in our culture. Father, we pray that many more companies throughout the United States will cease promoting the harmful LGBTQ+ agenda and turn to Your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
