The reality of what happens to many children who undergo transgender “transition procedures” was recently on full display for the nation to see on “The Ingraham Angle” on the Fox News channel. Layla Jane was featured on the show where she publicly voiced the horrors of the transgender “transition procedures” she endured at the tender age of thirteen.
Jane is suing Permanente Medical Group and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals claiming the physicians pushed her into surgical mutilation, a double mastectomy, as they characterized the surgery as the only way to cure Jane’s pre-existing mental health issues. At thirteen Jane went through these extreme “transition procedures” and now at eighteen is dealing with the negative reality of these procedures.
On the show, Jane detailed these severe negative consequences, she stated, “I don’t think I’m better off for the experience, and I think transitioning just completely added fuel to the fire that was my preexisting conditions.” Furthermore, she has pointed out in her lawsuit the negative physical consequences that the procedures brought forth, she has detailed the series of health issues that have come about because of the permanent mutilation done to her body.
Stories such as this one must stop. Confused children struggling with their biological makeup should be truly helped in a multitude of ways, and not rushed into transgender “procedures” that can lead to permanent harm. Furthermore, this is why it is paramount for the KY General Assembly to ensure by the close of the 2023 legislative session that Senate Bill 150 remains, as one facet of the bill protects children from these extreme and dangerous transgender “transition procedures.”

Father, please help each and every individual understand that You have created each of us perfectly for a good plan and purpose. Lord, please open the eyes of those who hold to the transgender worldview to understand that true human flourishing never comes about through attempting to change one’s gender. Father, empower the KY General Assembly to do whatever is necessary to protect children and make sure that Senate Bill 150 stands. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
