“These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace.” – Zechariah 8:16
Earlier this year, “Sarah” McBride of Delaware, a biological male who identifies as a transgender female, became the first “transgender” individual to be sworn in as a member of the United States Congress. Since McBride’s election win, it has caused chaos to break out as questions arose as to which bathrooms McBride will use and more.
Thankfully, however, the situation surrounding McBride in the U.S. House is revealing that there is a forceful revolution for truth and reality erupting throughout our nation. This pro-reality revolution has been growing in momentum for some time, however, notably, it was seen expanding in President Trump’s executive order, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government” which changed the official policy of the United States to recognize two biological sexes that are not changeable, male and female.
Specifically, surrounding the McBride situation, we are witnessing the revolution for truth take place in the U.S. Congress. Earlier last week, Illinois Representative Mary Miller introduced Rep. McBride on the U.S. House floor as a man and refused to perpetrate a lie that somehow, he is a woman.
Also, during the middle of last week, Rep. Keith Self of Texas was chairing a congressional hearing when he referred to Rep. McBride as a man. From a Biblical perspective, Representatives Miller and Self fulfilled the Biblical command to speak the truth in love. There is no decency or nobility found in perpetrating a lie, a false reality, that a confused transgender individual believes.
The truth revolution is breaking out across America and may it continue growing in momentum!
LET US PRAY…
Father, thank You for the courage and strength of Representatives Miller and Self to fulfill the Biblical command to speak the truth in love. Lord, help Your people all across our nation to never perpetrate the transgender lie that causes great damage to those caught up in it. Father, may the truth revolution continue picking up steam and engulf these United States. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Every “Let Us Pray” devotional throughout this year’s legislative session will have the names of those in authority here in Kentucky so that we may fulfill our God-given command to pray for our governing leaders.
