The Journal of American Medical Association just released a new study that reveals a gut-wrenching reality in connection to “transition” surgeries in our nation. Regrettably, in just three years, from 2016 to 2019 in the United States, the number of “transition” surgeries performed tripled.
In 2016, the study found that there were 4,552 “transition” procedures performed in the United States. In 2019, however, sadly that number has tripled in the United States to 13,011 “transition” procedures having been performed.
The most troubling part of the study, however, was the number of these life-altering surgeries that were performed on minors and teenagers. Disturbingly, the study shows that between the years 2016 to 2019, 3,678 individuals between 12 to 18 underwent the extremely dangerous “transition” surgery.
It is a heartbreaking reality that between 2016 and 2019 in the United States 48,019 confused and vulnerable people have been permanently mutilated in the name of “transgender” medicine. Thankfully, to protect minors from these dangerous and life-altering procedures twenty states have stepped up by passing legislative measures prohibiting “transition” procedures on minors including our Commonwealth with the passing of Senate Bill 150 earlier this year in the legislative session.

Father, please help these victims who have been permanently mutilated by “transition” surgeries in the name of medicine. Lord, may many more states step up and pass laws that will protect confused children from the irreversible harms of the “transition” procedures. Father, empower us to tell Your truth to our culture about human sexuality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
