Let Us Pray

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is holding its annual national conference in just a few weeks. Every year they allow exhibitors to display their products that enhance children’s lives. These products range as far as kid’s toys to advanced medication to help children with autism.

Requesting a booth for this year’s annual conference was the Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine(SEGM). The SEGM represents a wide range of comprehensive research that evaluates the scientific facts involved with medical transgender interventions on children.

The SEGM rejects the “gender-affirmation” medical procedures that the AAP and other powerful medical groups are promoting. These “gender-affirmation” procedures include puberty-blocking medications, cross-sex hormone therapy, and surgical procedures that mutilate one’s body.

These transition procedures, that medical transgender advocates are pushing on children are extremely dangerous and will permanently alter their bodies. The SEGM is being rejected from having a seat at the table to discuss the best treatments for children who are struggling with gender dysphoria simply because they are sounding the alarm and revealing that transgender ideology is bad medicine.

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, thank You that the SEGM has the courage to take a stand for real medicine that helps those with gender dysphoria instead of causing them more harm. Father, please protect children who are confused and struggling with their gender. May they not be used and harmed by those whose only intent is to push forth transgender ideology. May the American Academy of Pediatrics reassess where they stand on the issue of transgender medicine for children, and put forth medicine that helps children develop into the person God created them to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
