“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” John 3:36
Days ago, Vice President Kamala Harris held her first political rally in the state of Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. At the event, Harris made a statement that has caused much concern for those of the Christian faith.
During the portion of her speech where Harris was railing against pro-life protections, two university students in attendance exclaimed, “Christ is King” and “Jesus is Lord!” Harris immediately responded to the students by disrespectfully telling them, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.”
This is a serious stance that Vice President Harris is taking. She literally is expelling the name of Jesus from her platform claiming that Jesus doesn’t belong at her rally. The Christian has to ask the question, “If Jesus is barred from her political rallies, will He be allowed in a possible Harris administration?”
From a worldview perspective, if one is running a campaign where Christ is publicly banished, it stands to reason that their worldview is in essence one of an anti-Christian perspective. This is beyond concerning for the believer, as we know that Christ is ultimately the only hope for America, and if he is vanquished from a presidential administration, our nation will be in a very vulnerable place before God.
LET US PRAY…
Father, may our nation as a collective whole understand that we desperately need You for the healing, strength, and future of our nation. Lord, may Vice President Harris understand that no matter how hard she tries to distance herself from You, one day she will bow her knee and profess You as Lord. Father, may Your name be lifted high and exalted over our beloved nation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
