British journalist, Piers Morgan, recently interviewed renowned biologist and professor at the University of Oxford, Richard Dawkins. Dawkins is probably best known for his leadership in the new atheism movement, where he greatly criticizes theist belief.
The interview, however, touched on a very hot topic in our culture today, the issue of transgenderism. As Dawkins discussed the transgenderism subject, thankfully, he called a “spade a spade” and spoke truth on the issue. He made it absolutely clear in the interview that our biological sex is unchangeable, and that one’s sex is determined by their chromosomes.
Dawkins bluntly said, “As a biologist, there are two sexes, and that’s all there is to it.” He went on to say that transgender ideology, the idea one can change their biological sex, is complete “nonsense.”
Although Professor Dawkins is absolutely wrong about the existence of God, he is absolutely correct about the reality of our biological sex being immutable. It is beyond time for those holding to the incoherent and inconsistent transgender worldview to neglect and reject it as it does not correspond to reality as Dawkins has clearly stated. We must remind our society that only a worldview that adheres to objective reality can lead to a life of flourishing.

Father, please open the spiritual eyes of Richard Dawkins, and may he seek You and place his faith in You. Lord, please help those holding to the transgender worldview to see that it is truly inconsistent, incoherent, and leads away from human flourishing. Father, may our nation one day truly honor Your creation of how You have created each and every one of us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
