Time appears to be moving at light speed as it is hard to believe that we are just days away from the new year. It feels as though 2022, has literally just vanished before our very eyes.
As 2022, comes to a close, may we overflow with gratefulness to the Lord for the massive good pro-family, pro-life, and pro-religious liberty legislative victories we have seen in 2022. The Lord graciously allowed The Family Foundation to play an important role, and to be a part of these victories in our beloved state.
One of these victories was the “Save Women’s Sports Act” that was passed by the KY General Assembly. This bill ensures that here in the Commonwealth, athletes must compete on teams that align with their biological sex and not in accordance with their gender identity. This bill ensures that female athletes in the Commonwealth are allowed to compete on a fair playing field.
Another victory was witnessed when the KY legislature passed the “Church is Essential Act.” This bill protects the fundamental human right of Kentuckians to worship and exercise their faith, especially during times of crises and emergencies.
Also, there was a pro-life victory with the “Humanity in Healthcare Act” becoming law. This bill provides women and their preborn children in Kentucky with more protections and now prohibits mail-order abortion drugs.
As we give thanks to God for the victories in 2022, may we be filled with vigor and fervor to cultivate a state where God is truly honored in 2023.

Father, thank You for the wonderful pro-family victories that we witnessed and were allowed to be a part of in Kentucky, in 2022. Lord, help us to be greatly effective for Your truth and cause in the Commonwealth in 2023. Father, may all of our efforts in this coming year be pleasing to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
