William Baxter Boyd is a Senior Fellow at The Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that stands for Kentucky families and the biblical values that make them strong by advocating for God-honoring public policy in the Commonwealth.
Baxter’s heart is to help Christians live out their faith in the culture so that Kentucky may be a state where God is honored, and Biblical values are protected.
Baxter author’s the daily “Let Us Pray” devotionals that equip Christians to engage the culture and to effectively apply Biblical principles to the ever-changing issues we face in the public square. Baxter’s work considers various cultural, moral, and ethical issues, and how Christians should understand them through a Biblical worldview.
He also speaks for The Family Foundation in churches across the Commonwealth on Biblical citizenship, religious liberty, and the issues facing Kentucky families.
Baxter graduated from Boyce College in Louisville, KY with a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies. He received his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently finishing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Baxter enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, and playing tennis. Baxter is married to his wife Kaitlyn, and they expecting their first child and have a puppy named “Dash.”
